Meet Our Personal Trainers

Briana Wasielewski, PTA, PT - Physical Therapist Assistant / Personal Trainer

Bri is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and also has an Associates Degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with her major in Exercise Science and Nutrition. 

Bri currently offers personal training to anyone wishing to improve their lifestyle in a safe and effective way that is tailored to personal needs. As a PTA she works to rehabilitate outpatient clients at Advanced Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. Combining her knowledge as a PTA and personal trainer, she encourages clients to lead a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition guidance that apply to daily activities and personal goals. 

Bri has been involved with athletics since a young girl and has always been interested in health and fitness. On the side, Bri is a USA Swimming Certified Coach. She enjoys swimming, running, biking, and hiking. In her free time she likes outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting with her husband.

Mitch Johnson, BS

Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Mitch has personal trained over 50 collegiate level athletes. He also works with junior high through high school students one on one, or in a group class setting to improve their fitness level and sports performance. In addition, he offers personal training to anyone wishing to improve their lifestyle in a safe and effective way, tailored to their goals and their preferences. Combining his knowledge as a coach and personal trainer, he encourages clients to lead a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition guidance, then apply his knowledge directly to workouts and personal goals.

Mitch is also a national certified football and baseball coach through the National Federation of High Schools. He is the head football and head strength coach at Appleton West High School. He also holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and minor in economics and marketing.

Mitch has been involved with athletics since a young age. He was a 3 sport athlete in high school and he also played football and baseball in college. He enjoys working out, watching sports, and walking his dog.

Liz Teetzen

Certified Fitness Instructor

Wellness & Health Professional

Liz has been a certified group fitness instructor since 2013 and an ACE certified personal trainer since 2016. She graduated from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate Degree in Wellness & Health Promotion.

Liz has a firm understanding of the body and is highly motivated to assist her clients with achieving their desired goals. Whether it be weight loss, strength & conditioning, flexibility, endurance, or general health & fitness, she designs customized plans to fit their individual needs. She enjoys working with clients that are new to exercise, as well as those that want to be re-energized with a fresh start in fitness. As a personal trainer and wellness professional, she will guide her clients toward a healthy lifestyle.

In her free time, Liz enjoys running, swimming, being outdoors, and maintaining her own healthy lifestyle.

Beth Rusch

Certified Fitness Instructor

Certified Personal Trainer

With many years under her belt as a group fitness instructor, Beth has now taken on the role as personal trainer. She offers supportive and caring service to all her clients. Together you will design a plan that will fit your needs and achieve your goals. For Beth, the most exciting part about personal training is seeing people gain confidence, believe in themselves, and find joy in living a healthy lifestyle.

Besides being certified through SCW as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Beth has also held certifications in kickboxing, kids in motion, group strength, cycling, yoga, and Zumba. 

In the past, she has run our wellness program and teen sports conditioning program, and has also worked with the Shawano hockey league kids.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and watching her kids play hockey. Beth is also the owner of Fusion Salon in Shawano.
